With the permanent 2019 summer transfer window slamming shut at 5pm earlier this evening, a late announcement by Aston Villa confirmed that youngster James Bree had headed out for another loan spell, and this time he heads to the Championship with newly promoted side Luton Town.
The 21-year-old came into the club from Barnsley pretty highly rated as a youngster and he has made 21 starting appearances for us since January 2017, with an additional seven showings from the bench, and in the second half of last season, he spent time with Ipswich Town, making 14 appearances for them.
.@JamesBree_97 has joined Luton Town on a season-long loan. ✍️
The deal is subject to Premier League and EFL approval.

He now heads to Kenilworth Road looking for greater game time to continue his development and with how the Hatters have progressed back through the tiers over the last few years, and with their approach to the game in terms of playing style, it should be a good spell for the lad and it’ll help show us what he’s really capable of.
The deal is still subject to Premier League and EFL approval according to the Official Site so I assume a deal sheet was needed and we got it over the line with an extension.
He’ll do a great job for you
